Would you believe me if i said that the DOM is just a visual representation of our HTML ? This means we can change the document structure, style and content without impacting our hard coded HTML 🤯.

Well here you are, having stumbled upon my blog, maybe your’e a fellow Flatiron student beginning, in the middle of or just hearing me present my blog for Mod 3.
Now i am not one to panic, but the DOM can be pretty intimidating. With no prior knowledge it might all sound like a lot of random acronyms. …

All sites referring to the top users, stories, posts have some form of algorithm keeping the standing in place. Im going to share my findings in Mediums

For some people, defeating the algorithm is what keeps them going, keeps them posting or sharing. They want to beat it and reach the pinnacle of the site. Let’s take a step back, what is an algorithm? In mathematics and computer science, it is a finite sequence of well-defined, implementable instructions, made to solve a specific problems or perform keeping a certain standing in order. A simple one to picture is posting a…

An introduction to a language with much history and which is still used today.

Ruby is a pure Object-Oriented language developed by Yukihiro Matsumoto in the mid 1990’s in Japan. Everything in Ruby is an object except the blocks but there are replacements as well such as lambda. Ruby has similar syntax to many programming languages like C and Java. It’s a great introduction to many other languages, once yoy learn it many others become easier to take on. The objective of Ruby’s development was to make it act as a sensible buffer between programmers and the underlying computing machinery.

Typescript and things i wish i would've known

Typescript and The DOM

As you begin using and learning TypeScript it becomes apparent that its very in touch with the browser environment. Lets say you needed a element on the page and you used a basic document.querySelector(‘desired element’)
TypeScript will show you the error if you misspell the element on the page !!

But how is it that it recognizes your’e misspelling the elements name on the page ? The reason why is because of the lib.dom.d.ts file. This file is a part of the TypeScript library and basically describes everything that occurs in the…

Have you ever wanted to build a mobile or web app that has a great design, smooth animations and wont compromise on quality or performance to do so ?
The world is filled with all kinds of frameworks meant to help find the solution. However one thing is for sure, yes , flutter is the one step solution for us !

What is Flutter?

Cha Cha Cha, lets reduce, reuse and make our state management a lot simpler with redux, this blog is on getting started with Redux

State management is a key aspect of any application.State has to do with the values in your application at any point in time. The go to example of state is when there is a simple form, the initial value within each form input box will be an empty string. Once the user types in the input into a box, there is a change in state, and the values within state are no longer the same.
